This 05 Nights / 06 Days itinerary takes you through the world's highest motorable road at Khardung La Pass (18,380 ft), the stunning Nubra Valley, the tranquil blue waters of Pangong Lake, and back through the monastery-dotted valleys of Leh.
Highlights include the Indus–Zanskar river Sangam, Magnetic Hill, Pathar Sahib Gurdwara, Deskit Monastery, a Double-Humped Bactrian Camel Safari in the sand dunes at Hundar, Hemis Monastery (the largest in Ladakh), Thiksey Monastery, Shey Palace, and the famous 3 Idiots school campus.
All inner line permits, wildlife fee, oxygen cylinders, and the Ladakh Environmental fee are included — ensuring a hassle-free Himalayan adventure.

Arrive at Leh Airport (3,505 metres / 11,567 feet). Our representative will receive you and assist with transfer to the hotel.
Complete rest is advised for the first half of the day to acclimatise to the high altitude.
After lunch, if you are feeling well, visit the sunset-famous Shanti Stupa — a beautiful Japanese Pagoda built for world peace by Indian-based Japanese monks, inaugurated by His Holiness the Dalai Lama in 1985. The stupa offers panoramic views of Leh and the surrounding Himalayan landscape.

After breakfast, proceed for a full day of local Leh sightseeing.
Drive along the Indus river to the following highlights:
• Indus & Zanskar River Sangam – The spectacular confluence of the turquoise Zanskar river and the blue-grey Indus river; the colour contrast is a visual treat.
• Pathar Sahib Gurdwara – A historic Sikh shrine situated on the Srinagar–Leh highway, dedicated to Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
• Magnetic Hill – The famous optical illusion where vehicles appear to defy gravity and roll uphill on their own.
• Leh Hall of Fame – A museum dedicated to the brave Indian soldiers who fought in the Kargil War, maintained by the Indian Army.

After an early breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass (18,380 ft) — the world's highest motorable road and gateway to the Siachen Glacier. The views from the top of the pass are simply breathtaking.
Proceed to Deskit (118 km from Leh) and visit:
• Deskit Monastery – Founded by Lama SherabZangpo in 1420 A.D., this is the oldest and largest monastery in Nubra Valley.
Check in at your camp or hotel. In the afternoon, visit:
• Hundar Village (7 km from Deskit) – Set amidst sand dunes surrounded by towering mountains.
• Double-Humped Bactrian Camel Safari – Enjoy a unique camel ride on the cold desert sand dunes of Hundar. These rare double-humped camels are a legacy of the ancient Silk Route.

After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Pangong Lake via the scenic Shyok route (shortcut via Tang Tse and Spangmik).
The road follows the Shyok river through dramatic barren mountain landscapes. The route climbs up a mountain before descending into the picturesque Shayok village — a large village set against stark, barren mountains that creates a stunning visual.
Continue to Tang Tse and then on to Spangmik at Pangong Lake.
In the afternoon, arrive at Pangong Lake and enjoy the remainder of the day at this mesmerising high-altitude lake (4,350 m). The lake is famous for its crystal-clear blue waters that change colour through the day — from blue to green to red — and for its stunning surrounding mountain reflections.

After breakfast, drive back to Leh via Chang La Pass (elevation 5,360 m / 17,590 ft).
En route, visit the following highlights:
• Hemis Monastery – The largest and wealthiest monastery in Ladakh, located in a hidden valley of the Indus. Famous for the annual Hemis Festival.
• Thiksey Monastery – Situated dramatically on a hillock with formidable views of the Indus Valley; resembles the Potala Palace in Lhasa.
• Shey Palace – The ancient royal palace and monastery of the kings of Ladakh, featuring a large seated Buddha.
• 3 Idiots School Campus (Rancho's School) – The famous Druk Padma Karpo School made internationally known by the Bollywood film '3 Idiots'.
• Sindhu Darshan – A scenic confluence viewpoint on the banks of the mighty Indus (Sindhu) river.
